Why Boo Paws Home

Our Vetting Process

Every breeder on Boo Paws Home is screened before they list a single puppy, and checked again every year they stay.

Four stages of review

How a breeder earns a place here

01

Application & licensing review

Before a breeder is listed, we collect business licensing, kennel registration where applicable, and references from their own veterinarian. Anything we cannot verify, we do not accept.

02

Home & facility walkthrough

A live video walkthrough of the home and whelping area. We look for where the dogs actually live, how clean and quiet the space is, and whether puppies are raised indoors with the family.

03

Veterinary & genetic screening

Breeding dogs need current veterinary clearance and breed-appropriate genetic testing on file. Puppies must be examined by a licensed veterinarian before they are listed.

04

Ongoing compliance checks

Listing is not a one-off approval. Every breeder is re-verified annually, and any welfare complaint triggers an immediate review and possible removal from the network.

The standards every partner agrees to

  • Dogs live indoors as part of the family, never in outdoor runs or stacked cages
  • No puppy leaves before eight weeks of age and a veterinary health exam
  • Breeding dogs are limited to a responsible number of litters with rest between them
  • Complete vaccination, deworming and examination records travel with every puppy
  • Breeders must answer adopter questions directly and honestly: no pressure, no hidden fees
  • Any complaint of neglect or misrepresentation ends the partnership

Something to report?

If a breeder on this platform ever falls short of these standards, tell us through our contact and application form. We investigate every report.
